Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information.

What We Don't Do

OpinionRush does not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to.

Survey providers receive only anonymized demographic data (not your name or email). Our payment processor receives your payout email solely to process your cashout. Our email delivery provider receives your email solely to deliver messages you've requested. None of these constitute a "sale" or cross-context advertising "share" under California law.

What We Do Share for Advertising

We use a third-party web analytics provider to measure how people use the Service, and one or more advertising-conversion networks to measure which of our ad campaigns produce signups. These services receive a pseudonymous identifier, your IP address, user-agent, and a record of key product events (page views, survey starts, completions, bonus claims, cashout requests, signup completion). The specific service providers and what each receives are listed at /privacy/vendors.

Under the CCPA/CPRA, this may qualify as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out in any of the following ways:

• Toggle it in your account: Sign in and visit Settings → Privacy. The toggle there opts you out permanently across all devices.
• Email us: Send a note to support@opinionrush.com with the subject "Do Not Share" and the email address on your account. We'll flag your account to suppress analytics and advertising tracking within 15 business days.
• Block the trackers in your browser: Use a browser with built-in tracking protection (Safari, Firefox, Brave) or install a reputable ad blocker to stop our analytics and advertising scripts from loading entirely. OpinionRush automatically honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals — no email needed, no toggle needed. If your browser is sending GPC, you're already opted out.
• Opt out at the advertising-network level: Per-network opt-out URLs are listed at /privacy/vendors. Using those is equivalent to the in-product opt-out for that specific network.

Authorized Agents

An authorized agent may submit a request to opt out on your behalf. To verify the agent's authorization, we require (a) a notarized power of attorney, OR (b) proof of registration with the California Secretary of State under California Probate Code. Send verification + the consumer's written authorization to support@opinionrush.com. We verify the consumer's identity directly, per 11 CCR § 7063.

Submit a Privacy Request

For all CCPA rights requests — including access, deletion, correction, opt-out, or authorized-agent submissions — use our public Privacy Request form. Signed-in users can also exercise these rights directly from Settings → Privacy. We verify every request via email before acting and respond within 45 days.

Other California Rights

To exercise your other California privacy rights — the right to know, the right to delete, or the right to correct — contact us at support@opinionrush.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days as required by California law.
